Fish Head with Papaya Soup - BM booster
This is also my all-time fav soup! Posted earlier on in my blog, this soup has sure been my Breastmilk booster but is also great for non-BFing mummies. Good for the skin and healthy!

Ingredients: (serves 2 pax)
1/2 small green papaya (really unripe ones) -peel and cut into cubes
1/4 fish head or 1 whole small fish head
note: can replace with fish bones and also incld more fish meat if preferred
1 ltr chicken broth
5 red dates
3 slices of ginger
a handful of dried wolf berries
1 tbl spoon sesame oil
rice wine or brandy
Instructions:
1. fry ginger in sesame oil till fragrant
2. stir fry fish head/ bones till golden brown, slightly charred (leave meat till much later)
3. add in chicken broth and bring to boil (cover wok)
4. add in papaya & red dates, leave to simmer for 30-45min with cover on (very low flame)
note: add meat after simmering for 15min
5. add in wolf berries and allow to simmer for another 10min
6. add in a dash of rice wine/ brandy as desired
