New pram for Princess
Recently we have been out shopping alot and have to use many ways to transport Mischa around as we cant be carrying her in our arms all the time. We just bought a pram for Little Mischa. Initially we did not intend to buy anymore prams as we bought 3 different types of pram for Favian before. We had the Capella reversible handle, Combi pram and a lightweight Combi pram for toddlers. However when we were shopping that day something caught our eyes and we decided to get it for Little Mischa as the old prams are kind of 'worn' and we thought it will be fair to buy a new one for her. Here's our new purchase:
Maclaren Quest Mod in Shocking Coral Pink!!!

We have also been using slings quite frequently as we realised that Mischa enjoys being in the slings especially when daddy sling her in her little pink hammock.
Daddy & Mischa in the Babyrock sling. She look so comfy inside

Born in the Year of PIG...oink...oink...
My little Cutie Mischa has been growing pretty well. Here's an update of her progress:
Age: 7 weeks old
Weight: 6kg
Height: 55cm
What should the normal/average weight & ht be for a 7 weeks old?

Waiting for her 'explosive' hair to grow longer so that i can put on a hairclip for her...kekekeke...

Thought of making a passport for her as we have plans to go for a short trip early next yr...wonder if this shot can be used for the passport photo.

Bloom Shots Update
Link: previous post
Finally got the time to update my Bloom Shots. Favian took great pics and hubby was asking me to enrol him for kid's modelling..hahaha....anyone keen?
Overall we are quite happy with the shots and will probably take a family portrait again when Mischa turns 1 yr old!...

Nov Mummies Gathering
This was the 2nd gathering organized by the November mummies. However this round is something different, our babies were present too! It was a fun and nice chit-chat session with cakes, sandwiches and snacks. Thanks to Mummy Katie for hosting the gathering at her nice and cosy apartment. Some of the babies were cranky and needed to be rocked to sleep (my Mischa included!) hence mummies were quite busy with entertaining the little ones so we suggested that the next gathering we shall all include the hubbies so that they can do the job of being the caregiver and we mummies enjoy the feasts and gossips.
Some photos I took at the gathering (missed out Yoko cos we were busy chatting and forgotten to take pictures until the end)
Babies with mummies from left: Myself & Mischa,Tinkabel(Shirley) & Matthias, Plim(Pauline) & Bevis, Tweety(Katie) & Luis, Gillian & Javier.

My Breastfeeding Journey
I m so glad I can still manage to BF her exclusively till now. She has been breastfed for 4 weeks till date. Its a great achievement maybe jus to me as I had a tough breastfeeding journey when I had Favian.
I basically struggled to build up my supply since the very first day in TMC when I just delivered Favian. Being a 1st time mum i was overwhelmed by the attention needed from a newborn - endless feeding, diapering, changing etc that lead me to mild post-natal blues. I guess it was the initial foundation not built up and lots of stress from family members (no encourage in breastfeeding) thus led to my low supply in milk. I finally gave up at 6months and all the while Favian was fed with a mix of BM+FM. Alot of factors contributed too as Favian was a fussy, cranky newborn who wants his milk FAST! He couldnt suckle well but other times he was a well behaved little devil.. heehee...
So when I was pregnant again, I was determined to succeed in breastfeeding. I got the most expensive pump in the market, bought all the necessary items to aid in BF - so as not to give an excuse should i fail again. some friends asked me why I am so determined and 'die-die' must BF? Well personally i felt inadequate as a mum who did nt deliver both my bb thru natural birth. Having gone thru the trauma of c-section the 1st time, I actually broke down feeling sorry for my son. So I wanted to provide him with the goodness of BM so as to justify that.
Mischa can suckle very well and better than Favian, thats probably why I could build up my supply easily. This time round I am also more prepared and the encouragement from my family and frens significantly helped me in my breastfeeding journey so far. I aim to breastfeed her (nomatter with latching or EBM) for the next 3 months, then extend to 6 months, to a year. It'll be a great achievement for me!

Full Month Celebration

This day we celebrated Mischa's Full Month 'bday! It is a little bt early but as her actual full month falls on a Fri, old folks believe that full month celebration can be earlier but not later. hence we had a mad rush, booked a caterer, ordered pastries etc all in the last minute.
We enjoyed ourselves and thanks for all the pretty gifts + Ang Baos from all our friends and relatives!
Thanks to all the friends and relatives who attended Mischa's Full month Celebration.!
