Happy.

Agh.. A brighter and more cheerful blogskin this time. Although I still preferred the previous customized blogskin that a looks like a page out of my a scrap-booking album :) but it doesn't support that much gadgets like the blogroll, feedgit etc..
So now it's bk to the good old format by blogger with a new twist.

I m so happy today! Not sure why but i think partly becos of the veg meals I had since yesterday. The pretty colours Of the veg n the delightful taste. Most importantly I woke up this morning feeling really 'light'. So I believe food does affects one's mood.
Talking abt food, am looking forward to my yum-cha session with hb tomorrow morning then it's off to shopping for my supplies and change some moolas for our upcoming trip. Oh now I know... Hehehe it's must be the holidays that perked up my mood too!

Rabbit diet

This was my lunch, will be dinner for tonight too.
Ingredients: butterhead lettuce, cherry tomatoes, celery, red n yellow capsicums, baby carrots, chicken fillet (sans skin) , dried cranberries (my fav!) and sunflower kernels.

Actually it's high time I do something about my weight and health.
I put on so much weight for the past few yrs and it's bad. Not that I was really slim before, but as age catches up, metabolism rate slows down alot too. I literally put on weight even not eating much :( sigh.
And I m a food lover- good food! So yah, I'm so gonna start my rabbit diet till my holidays in Seoul n then when I'm bk , will return to this rabbit diet again!
Diet for the sake of good food occasionally. Hehehe.
Discipline, discipline. I must do it for the sake of vanity. I want to revamp my wardrobe but first of all must get my statistics bk to 'normal'.
And to make it easier for myself, these are my daily rations. They will be my lunch and dinner for the next 4days. No more excuses!

Mama needs a break!

Mama is tired..Very tired. Perhaps its just mentally. But I think its about time I do something for myself. I am a greedy girl who wants the best of ALL worlds..haha. I want my life, my kids, my Me-time, my shopping sprees, my 'career' (if its even considered one) , my friends, and my couple-time with hb.

I wan to learn new things, Pilates, dress-making, baking, take up a language, dancing (haha!) and lots more. But there's only 24hrs meagre hrs in a day. To the extent I felt that sleeping was a waste of time. - Now u know why i look like that :( !

I'm constantly struggling on a balancing scale. Always caught in a cross-junction. Decisions making is just so not me. I can't decide cos i m so greedy.

Anyway, I m set on taking a 'short' break after my orders are cleared. I know it may not be good from the business point of view -playing MIA = losing customers. Oh well, life's always about making sacrifices here and there.
But all's not that bad yet. someone is keen to collaborate with me! No details yet, but I'm so gonna meet up with the lady after my trip!

Thoughts for tonight

It's been a really really jam-packed crazy year for me. Following our move into the new place in March, I started my little designing and sewing business. I can still recall a fellow mummy friend who asked me if I were interested to participate in a charity fair in October for the school selling my stuffs and donating a portion of it to the school to help the children.
That was back in early April.
To be honest, I wasn't sure if my business would last that long or if I would still be interested to do it by the time October comes.
But time really really literally fly before my eyes... It's already coming to the end of November! And yes, My passion is still blazing hot!! But due to some changes I didn't go for the fair after all.
What I'm trying to say is that I couldn't believe I can do this for so long cos it merely started as a passion n past time.

It was really madness for a couple of months after I started. Though I love the fact that my works are well received by others, it can get rather stressful sometimes rushing deadlines and making sure customers are satisfied with my products.
8months after, I do feel exhausted sometimes, dreading my everyday sewing non-stop. Sometimes neglecting my kiddos and Hubby becos of my endless sewing

I hv pondered n thought really hard. Perhaps I should take it slowly. As much as I love being independent earning my own keeps, I should still hv some me-time and social life. So yeah, I will be refining my strategy and taking lesser customized orders to concentrate more on my unique OOAK pieces.
So folks, do bear with me for a while ... Come 2011 will be a brighter yr for me!

Model material?

Hubby did ask me why I didn't think of exposing Mischa into modelling... I guess he is secretly thinking that his daughter is really pretty ? :P

Well I really have not got the urge to do that before, however since now that Mischa can take instructions more and her passion for singing/ dancing and perhaps 'performing' seems more apparent these days. Perhaps I should really give this a try.
Mischa has been posing as my house model for sometime. I love to take candid shots of her when I take pics for my new orders or designs. Here's some for you to drool at:

How's that???? any potential?
This has got to be my current favourite photo of my 2 sweeties ..LOL

Wedding Dinner at Shangri-la

please bare with me, photos all not in sequence..anyway..we attended a nice wedding banquet and it has been a while since i last atttended a wedding dinner. It was held in Shangri-la, food and ambience was good.

I am most proud of the dress I made for Mischa. Ya, i didn't make anything for Favian cos was too tied up and I reckon boys...hiaz..nothing much i can do except perhaps a tux or something along that line...well. when i am not so tied up perhaps i will.

Here's the dress I made for my girl.

Some shots taken during the wedding banquet

Day out and Javier's 1st big bash!

Whoa what a day! - A super tiring one. I started the day bringing Mischa to her piano lesson all by myself. It's been a while since I took a bus and fumbling with a kiddo, no easy feat.
Hubby's busy today and couldn't make it in time to send us there. It was fun taking the bus with Mischa and she was pretty well-behaved throughout the journey (just 10min anyway) and through the music class too.
Mischa enjoyed her class and am happy that she has an interest in music as well. :)

that's her with her big smile in the morning!
while waiting for the bus..

After the class we waited for hubby and we attended little Javier's birthday party at Kidzamaze..its really amazing...love the place. the play unit's so huge and spacious. Favian and mischa had a ball of their time there! Too bad it's in Jurong, otherwise we could go there more often.

At the party with Shirley , and the Tee i made for Lil Javier. Hope he likes it!

After the party my 2 cranky babes asked for Sashimi so we proceeded to the jap restaurant just downstairs for a quick bite - of sashimi....they really know how to enjoy life(s) !

Our long and tiring day ended with a big feast by the sea at PAsir Ris Park to celebrate my mum's birthday - I actually forgotten the name of the seafood stall..anyway food was good. Too good that we forgotten to take pictures of the dishes except for this pepper and chilli crabs...yum....and also forgotten to take family pics...aww....!

My new addition

Alright, go ahead and call me lame, dumb or whatever. But I know I just gotta get it, get over and be done with! Prices are shooting up like crazy, so before it gets higher again!

Yes! My dream jumbo in cavier and silver hardware.. :D
I really splurged this time and i know... A big reward myself.
A new addition to my humble-and-Soon-to-grow Chanel family.. Hiak hiak hiak..

While i may sound crazy to you, but seriously Girls, you got to feel and touch a Chanel to know what I mean. Every girl should own a one Chanel in her lifetime.. I think this statement is really really true!

Oh and my pinky cavier PST just arrived!
I m really pleased with my buy this time. The bag is really so so new and the pink leather is yummy. Best of all, u can't find this colour in stores anymore unless Chanel decides to bring it back! *BIG grin*
