Nov Mummies Gathering, AGAIN!

This is our 3rd November Mummies gathering and I am very proud to have this group of friends I got to know 'online' as we shared our times during our pregnancy days and now sharing tips and tricks of babycare. This is a kind of friendship that not many people will encounter. The special bonds we share because we are all mummies and we understand one another's plight :)

we had potluck party again and this time the turnout was much better than the previous gathering.

Here's some photos to share:

Taryn's Wedding

Last Saturday (5th Jan) I attended Taryn+CK's wedding. It was a good'ol kind of gathering for us girls too. Alicia,Sylvia, Joyce and Chelsea were present too. How fast time flies, we were still sweet young things back then when we got to know each other in Secondary school. Our friendship fostered during our times in the Red Cross Society. It was fun catching up with one another and soon Alicia will be delivering her Little bundle of joy too!

We took a pic during the banquet, everyone BUT Taryn the bride was not in the picture cos she was busy with her gown changing and photo session. Hope to receive the banquet picture soon so that I can upload here.

Took this with my camera:from left: Myself, Chelsea (huimin), Joyce (Kaijia),Alicia (huiying), Sylvia (huijun).

Little Red Bootie

Finally Mischa can wear the Red Hot Booties I knitted when I was still preggy! Look, so cute. I regretted not knitting a few more pairs in time. Now if i start knitting I probably will finish it much later and by then Mischa would have outgrown them.

Running out of space

Chinese New Year is just around the corner - which means its time for spring cleaning. I hate spring cleaning as I will always end up not throwing the things but finding spaces to 'keep' them and hubby will start nagging at me.

Since this pregnancy, I have done a lot of online shopping. My family's wardrobes are bursting with all the new purchases. My kitchen storage spaces are bursting too as I increase more of my Tupperware collections...kekekeke...

And my fridge / freezer space is bursting too! I have been storing alot of expressed breasts milk and now, I am in trouble. I have been latching Mischa most of the time and will empty my breasts after each feed. Although Favian has been 'helpful' in clearing my EBM (i mix into his milk) but he cannot catch up with the amount I store as he only drinks 2 times of milk in a day.
Look at my stash!

A Gift For Gor Gor

I finally received my online order from Leapfrog! Look what i got for my dear son. Hehehe..Leapster L-Max. Cool right? Its suppose to be a handheld gaming device, but educational at the same time. Initially I wanted to buy a PSP or Nintendo for Favian to occupy during car rides and train rides when I bring him out alone. But daddy was strongly against it! And accused me of spoiling him...well...

So i chanced upon this game set which includes cartridges of different games teaching Phonics, Math, Science and Songs etc. They use familiar characters like Thomas & Friends, Nemo, Dora and more...Hubby was very happy with it and asked me to go ahead and make the purchase. The device came jus in time for Favian as his Xmas present. He likes it very much and we ordered more cartridges for him and its on the way soon.
