It's indeed Heelarious !
Couple of days ago I just chanced upon this web selling really cute high heels shoes for baby! Yes H-E-E-L-S for baby - killer stilettos for infants!
I was hoping to get a pair for her as a mummy started a BP on this Heels in the SMH forum. But to my disappointment, they were only available in 0-6mth and Mischa has already outgrown her Shoo Shoos of size 0-6mths too hence buying these heels for her will be a waste of money...hiaz if only they come in bigger sizes....if only someone found this earlier...
They are just too cute to resist and this is my favourite pair:

Mischa's Tooth Growth Chart
I have not been recording Favian's tooth growth and so this time decided to make one for Mischa. It's quite fun to record her growth and to know that they are growing averagely well.
To date, Mischa already has 2 pairs of central incisors (top and bottom). The lower pair sprouted without us noticing but the upper sets were quite painful for Mischa as she was rather cranky and had slight fever when they first emerged.

Car Boot Sale at Big Splash
19th-20th July 2008
Open carpark at the PLAYGROUND @ Bigsplash East Coast Parkway
It was a great experience over the weekend for hubby and myself at the Car Boot sale. My close pal Shirley told me about this Car Boot Sale and we booked almost 3 weeks in advance for the car lot.
We brought along used items such as clothes, baby stuff and of course my HANDMADE HAIRCLIPS AND BOWS for sale there. We also brought along the art clocks we made and they sold like hot cakes! We were glad that we did not dispose them off when we moved out from our shop space a year ago.
My hairclips did make some statements there and even attracted a baby clothes retailer. She asked me if I were keen to have my clips displayed in their store for sale! Of course I wouldn't mind the exposure and I am gonna have a discussion with her real soon!
The weather was bad for the 2 days - hot hot hot!!! Hubby and I got sunburnt, Shirley and Lynn too! The sun was scotching hot for a good half of the day but for both days it started pouring suddenly around late noon. We were like illegal vendors throwing our stuffs into our cars and ran for our life but we still got caught in the rain. I just hope that I don't fall sick next. We went for some coffee breaks and chit chatting while waiting for the rain to stop. It was still fun after all dispite the heavy rain and scorching hot sun!
After the rain we laid out our stuff again to sell and the crowd in the evening were as good and we managed to clear most of our Art Clocks at unbelieveable prices!
Hubby also saw 2 of his army platoon mates and they promised to do another round in Aug. Now i got to think of what to sell next...maybe some handmade baby clothes and such!
Our 1st Day display

2nd day display- hubby relaxing beside his car
-at the end of the day we concentrated on selling Art Clocks and Hairclips only

Mischa is 8 Months Old
Mischa just turned 8 months old 3 days ago. Time really flies and I am so proud that she is still on 'mommy's milk'. Recently her appetite has decreased although she is more keen on solid foods now. her milk intake is still very little, but good for me in a sense that I am not too keyed up whenever I do no have enough breastmilk for her.
I must confess that I have not been diligent in expressing milk on time. Sometimes i will drag the pumping till 4 to 6 hours! And whenever my BM supply dipped, I will turn to my Fenugreek+Blessed Thistle for help. I know this is not a good long term plan, but anyway I am counting down to Mischa's 1St Birthday to announce the end of my Breastfeeding journey. I hope that by then I am able to let go and not be depressed nor guilty to stop BF like many of my friends did after they stopped BF or pumping for over a year.
It has been a really rewarding period till now to be able to fully BF Mischa and I applaud myself sometimes for the determination to express the milk for her whenever she is away from me.
I am looking forward to penning down her future milestones and here's her development at 8 months:
• Passes objects from hand to hand
• Stands while holding onto something
• Points at objects (vividly)
• Searches for hidden objects
• Pulls self to standing, cruises
• Picks things up with thumb-finger pincer grasp
• Indicates wants with gestures (mainly asking to be carried)
