Japan Day 2- Osaka : Yodobashi & Umeda sky building

Our itinery for today was supposed to be going to Kyoto - visiting temples and castles. However due to the overwhelming first day of arrival in Osaka, we decided to slow down our pace abit and do some leisure shopping and dining instead.
so off we went to the nearby shopping area - Yodobashi (huge electronics store), Hankyu etc. Later we decided to head back to shinsaibashi again since we didnt really have much time to shop last night. We had some nice sashimi and tataki since I have not tried any in japan so far.

Japan Day 1- Osaka : Kaiyukan Aquarium/ Shinsaibashi Suji

Yay! We are at the airport waiting for our 1am flight to Osaka! We had dinner at the airport with Dad and Mum prior to check-in and since we were rather early, we went to the Butterfly Garden at Terminal 3 for some snapshots.

I was so afraid that Mischa will misbehave during the flight, but thank goodness she was quite roughed out before the flight and slept quite abit in the bassinet.
After 6.5hrs we finally arrived at Kansai airport, Osaka at 845hrs Japan local tim (Japan is one hr ahead of us). Later we quickly proceeded to the JR ticketing area to purchase a one-way ticket to our hotel bear to Osaka station.

After checking in and dropping our luggage in the room, we headed off to Kaiyukan Aquarium without much delay as we were only staying for 2 nights in Osaka. It was a 8min walk to the Aqaurium from the station and we had some shaved ice and photoshooting along the way. Weather was nice and cooling and it wasn't crowded at all.

Kaiyukan was indeed an impressive aquarium. Many of the marine life were huge and rare. the stingrays and the shark was the most impressive and of course the 3-storey high glass tank!

Some nice piping hot tokiyaki along the way

After a 2hr spent in the Aquarium and a brief walk in Tempozan harbour village, we proceeded to Shinsaibashi Suji for some leisure, food and shopping before headng back to the hotel for a rest.

Busy....

It's been a really long time since i last updated my blog. Gosh, one month has gone past just like that!
I have been busy packing and clearing stuff getting ready to move. and this will be my last weekend here in my love next of 7 years! Yes I do feel a bit sad afterall this is where we 'made' 2 kiddos and shared happiness and sadness.
we spent so much effort, but little money in the design of our 1st nest. Now it's gonna belong to someone else's soon. I do hope that the new owner will cherish this little space here as much as we did!

Still alot more to pack up before we officially move out by next Friday. Now I am busy with my new property & recruitment career, some ID projects on hand and also the itinery planner for our first ever Japan trip!

talking about this trip just makes me excited and stressed at the same time. Cos I am the sole planner of the entire programme in this trip, hubby's responsibilities will only come when we reach Japan - navigating our way through and of course when the credit card bills come after our trip! Kekekekee!...I am really so looking foward to this trip. Will update about my trip then!
