Little Indulgence

I still remembered years ago when I was queuing outside Louis Vuitton boutique in Ngee Ann city waiting to enter, I commented to hubby that CHANELs  (which was just opposite LV) are for aunties.

Many years later, this girl has evolved into an 'auntie' now. I realised that I am starting to appreciate everything CHANEL...CC...they really exudes feminity and elegance. Yes every single piece of stuffs they have, from jewellery, accessories to bags!
Having been a big fan of LV for years, as the popularity and affordability become too common, I feel that carrying an LV bag was nothing more than an accessories nowadays. Take a stroll down Orchard road and you will now what I mean.

Late last year, I got myself a Miu Miu coffer bag in classic black with gold hardware. And I still love the bag till now. The calfskin is so supple and luxurious to touch. But if I get a Chanel timeless classic Jumbo or Maxi for myself, I will probably sell this coffer away.

Anyway I am truly happy with my recent find in EBAY! my 1st Chanel buy, and am sure there will be amny more to come!
WAs actually convinced on my purchase of a Chanel GST in champagne gold, limited edition 2009. But found this little sweetie in marshmellow pink! somthing i had always wanted. The size was right for my petite frame, the colour was sweet and most importantly price was too attractive to miss!
I am still waiting for my little darling to arrive, but here's a preview of it...yummy!

MISCHA by Mischa's Lil Secrets

Yes..my new baby is born..again!
I have started my new label named MISCHA. This new branding is focussing on apparels for girls, boys and mummies/ ladies.
I don't think I will be meddling with men's wear at this moment though i have repeated requests for this once a while. But I think one shouldn't be greedy, just  do what I am good at and make it great!

These are some of my favourite pieces of work and this soft powder blue dress was my 1st proper dress for Mischa!

Catching up..on my life so far

Some major changes took pl;ace while i was away from blogging. Now I m just trying to catch up and put the pieces back into my blog since my absence.
Sometimes life is just so unpredictable. You lose something, but you gain something back and sometimes much much better.

Hubby and I made a decision to end our Interior Design business this year. We couldn't depend on it to survive anymore. But most importantly. we both realised that our passion were no longer in ID. So, we had to let go and explore other opportunities.

Hubs went into property full time and I can only say that he finally found his 2nd forte! LOL. Life's been good and smooth sailing for him and of course our family.
And so for myself....while staying at my mum's place, I couldnt continue with my hairclips business and I just had to do something I wanted for so long.
I invested in an embroidery machine, started exploring customised kids apparels with monogramming and appliques.
I also started sewing some simple dresses for Mischa and am so glad that I received lotsa good comments on it and so finally my little passion turned into a little business I m so proud of today.

I realised that i didn't blog about my new business at all till now...  It's always been a dream n passion to create apparels. I almost went into fashion designing before I chose Interior Designing. So this was like a huge opportunity to try carving out this career before I turn too old and live in regrets.

Peektures..

I realised that i hv been really slag in blogging lately and it has been almost a yr since my last proper post with pictures...the last i can rem was the Japan trip last OCT..thats more than a yr already!

The postings after that were all short, impromtu and without pictures. I realised thats so much to catch up and tell stories of the photos i hv taken. My new buys, new interests and all. And most of all, i missed blooggin. So yah, here i am offically back again and hopefully i wont slag anymore.

Struggle with the whiner

It's such a typical night tonight having to struggle with my lol whiney pig I call her.
It just have to happen every single day and it gets more unbearable when it happens at night before bed.

Not sure If it was due to the fall Mischa had earlier on after dinner.
She was ok after a while but it got terrible when she requested to take out the photographs we had on the newly displayed photo frames but hubby and I refused.
There she goes whining all night long til I couldn't take it and gave her a smack on her thighs. Feeling rather guilty now as I write.... It aches in my heart when I lay my hands on my kids. The Chinese saying is so apt if u know what I mean.

Ok enough of whining for myself as well.. Guess it's time for some well-deserved retail therapy!
