Shopping hauls and my bag charms craze
My shopping hauls of shoes. I like that these shoes are inexpensive but surprisingly comfortable. In my opinion, the quality look better than those from Zara. Can't believe the prices of the shoes there. I prefer those from Aldo.
Those leopard ( or is it cheetah?) prints I so love!! Especially it has a bow detail in the front.
I usually dress down ( am a tees and jeans girl) but like to play with accessories, shoes and bags. So I can take shoes that are very striking. In fact I prefer them to be tue focal point of my dressing.
My next buy should be a hot pink killer heels but I can't seem to find it.
Hmm but I'll like to add that I dun really baby my shoes, thus I won't spend tons of money on them. Talking about this, I hv been thinking of that pair of Ferragamo patent slip ons in red.. But just couldn't convince myself to spend so much on a pair of shoes that I'm gonna step on. I dun want to be a slave for my shoes..
I'm also quite concern if their shoes are really comfy enough to justify the price tag??

Oh and I really want to show you these...

My latest craze with long chains, pearls and crystals and converting them into bag charms. My current favorite shop is Diva! They hv a wide range of quirky pieces of CJs and mostly can be used as a set or can be detached to form individual strings of necklaces. Most importantly they are really inexpensive. I know I can actually make similar ones, but I tell you, it's stil cheaper to buy IMO.
And so I revived my trusty speedy 25. I love this bag and even thinking to get 1-2 more in other leather/ colours.
I love the aged gold/ bronze tones of the chain, with the lil rosette to soften the look. Now this bag looks truly vintage to me.
I think bag charms add a individualism to the bags and they stand out more since almost every girl is spotted with an LV or Chanel these days.
Am gonna explore more into this and perhaps sell them in my E-shop?

Bliss :-)
It's the 2nd day of school for Favian today and I'm still not in the mood to work. Only managed a simple dress and pants.
Went to pick up my bag ( sent it for a spa treatment) and had tea at Wild Honey @ mandarin gallery with Hubby and Mischa.
Love love love the mood and food!

I was able to shop quite abit today and managed to get my 2 pairs of shoes really really cheap and one of it was the leopard prints which I have been looking for a long time.
Another pair was a mirror finished gold slip-on heels.
Bought more accessories for my bags ( my latest craze, and I'll share with u in my next post) and I'm so into long necklaces these days.
Now I feel fully recharged and am so ready to start work come tomorrow. Retail therapy really works!!

Unagi porridge recipe
It's been a while since i shared recipes in my blog. A mummy friend was keen to know how i cooked the Unagi porridge in my earlier post, hence I thought might as well share it here with anyone who is interested to try it.
But frankly this isn't really a recipe, I'll just post the ingredients and steps to do it. As for taste-wise, will leave it to you to adjust according to your preference.
So here goes:
1) Unagi ( depends on how much u love it, I used 1 pc for 2 pax portion) cut into big chunks
2) porridge boiled with chicken broth, you may also use cooked rice leftover from previous day. Add more broth bring to boil till the softness/ consistency you like.
3) chopped onions ( add natural sweetness)
4) Unagi sauce ( bought from sushi counter)
5) pinch of salt ( to taste)
Steps:
I precook some porridge with broth, keep adding water later to the consistency I like.
Add chopped onions and Unagi pieces. Boil till it's soft and thick.
Add Unagi sauce and salt to taste.
That's it! Simple and yummy!

Home sweet home
We are back home finally. Mischa was given the green light to discharge this afternoon and we finally get to sleep on our cosy bed tonight.
Mischa is finally feeling ok now but will be on antibiotics for the next 10days. Did i mention it was bcos of UTI that caused her high fever?? Sigh..
I have to pay more attention in keeping Mischa clean after this episode. It's probably the way my helper cleaned her or whatever is the reason, I will take over this task from now on to save myself from all this trouble.
Here's Mischa getting all ready to discharge this afternoon. Saying bye to KKH!!

Upon reaching home, I quickly made some Unagi porridge for my dear Hubby who just went for a root canal proceedure this morning.

Poor fellow will be on soft diet for a week. So I have to think of many versions of porridge for him.
P.S.: Hubby commented that the porridge was heavenly!!

Can't fall asleep- look what I found!
This is crazy... The ward is full of never-ending screams and cries from babies and tods. I m so tired but yet I can't sleep ( it's already 1am) while my lil bub is snoozing away.
But thank god for iPad...To cure my boredom.
So look what i found
Love this gold sparkling Chanel flap. I wonder how huge this damage will be. Its definately a collector's piece

The red patent JM in the perfect red IMO. However wished it comes in the vintage gold chain instead.
And I m actually quite in love with this shape cos I m a tote girl deep inside

Am looking for a GST in a special colour.. This red caught my eye but will prefer the version with gold hardware

The other day in Orchard road I spotted a lady with this bag. I hv been searching high and low for a photo of it and hopefully a name for this bag. I love the frame bag with clasps that resembles the good old coin purse my grandma carried ..LOL.. N the gold chain against the shiny patent...tell me pls, if you see this on sale somewhere...
