Tired to the max!
It's been a crazy 3 weeks i tell you. I'm 'zombified' (if there's even this word!), not having enough sleep and having to attend to the nitty-gritty stuffs in the day.
My maid's gone for almost a month, and i haven't been really doing much chores lately, just 'nuah-ing' at home in front of the TV or surfing the forum and FB.
I have tons of orders to catch up with and I'm slowly working on them. 2 things to share:
Bad news first, the maid i previously selected fresh from Philipines still hasn't got a confirmation from agency if she's gonna make it here. Good news is, i have chosen a transfer maid ( i sweared not to take a transfer maid!! Argh!) out of desperation.. I think it's fate (too early to consider it luck) that i found this agency. I was enquiring about another maid whom i did a search online and found her biodata. But she's been taken so this agent recommended this transfer maid to me.
I rushed down to Far East just to check it out and interview her. She's pleasant looking, much younger than my previous maid, neat and clean looking.
She should be able to come over by next week (cross my fingers). I really need to get back to my routine and plenty of good nights sleep cos' I intend to let the new helper sleep in with Mischa! Woohoo! hopefully i'll be able to sneek out for some late night movies with hb soon!

Next time you are talking with a potential mate, listen up and you might just hear their cheating heart. Researchers have discovered that people can tell how likely a person of the opposite sex is to be a cheater, just by listening to their voice.

Next time you are talking with a potential mate, listen up and you might just hear their cheating heart. Researchers have discovered that people can tell how likely a person of the opposite sex is to be a cheater, just by listening to their voice.
"This is really important given our evolutionary history," said researcher Jillian O'Connor, of McMaster's University in Canada. "Infidelity is incredibly costly, people risk raising children that aren't their own and losing resources." [Financially Dependent Men More Likely to Cheat]
The researchers quizzed about 120 male and female college students. They recorded either a male or female speaking vowel sounds and then made higher- and lower-pitch versions, which they played for participants.
They had the participants rate the attractiveness of each pair of voices, and then asked them how likely they thought it would be for that person to be a cheater. The ladies associated the lower-pitched male voices with cheating, while the guys associated the higher-pitched female voices with cheating. The males weren't able to tell if another man was likely to stray based on his voice, though.
Voice pitch is related to sex hormone levels, the researchers said. The more testosterone a male has, the lower his voice, and the more estrogen a woman has, the higher her voice. Additional sex hormones have also been linked with an increase likelihood of carrying on cheating relationships and having more sexual partners.
"There are definitely social, cultural and psychological factors as well," O'Connor told LiveScience. "But there is an association between infidelity risk and hormone levels in men and women."
Women are attracted to men with high testosterone levels, possibly because it weakens the immune system. If a man can have high levels of testosterone and still be healthy and fit, he must have a good immune system, the thinking goes. High testosterone levels are also correlated with dominant behavior and high social status within groups, both good qualities in a mate.
It's likely these voice-reading abilities evolved to detect infidelity because it's costly (in terms of relationship investment and the cost of potential offspring) to be dating someone who is likely to cheat.
"It allows us to choose a mate that is likely to stick around and have children, and not do so with other people," O'Connor said.
The team is currently working to determine if there is a relationship between voice pitch and actual behavior in real people, to determine if men who naturally have low voices are more sexually promiscuous and more likely to cheat than those with higher-pitched voices.

The Adjustment Bureau and Emily Blunt
I like this movie. It just sets me thinking about life. Though this movie didn't get as much raves as the much-raved about 'Inception' , but good enough for my enjoyment and most importantly not confusing.
I love the twist of fate between the 2 lovers and most importantly, I just love staring at Emily Blunt int he movies. Her svelte and toned body, her accent and her charisma.

Love the set. There were just simple arches but with clever usage of lighting effects bringing us through different stages of Emily's life. Nothing fanciful but it was enough to bring the message across.
It was a great great performance after all.

My boy...
We lost it. Hubby and I was so mad at Favian last night. I usually leave the coaching to Hubby but last night he was busy so I had to take over the task.
I am really disappointed at him sometimes when he doesnt pay attention and makes careless mistakes in his work. It was mathematics. It was torturing for both him and myself.
When Hubby came home, he took over from me and it got worse.
The work was tough alright, and my boy is quite a dreamer sometimes. I really hope he cab buck up in that aspect. Hubby and I are also trying to work out a better way to coach him without us having to lose it at him.
It's tough for my baby too, but it's a fact in Singapore that education has always been the priority. Here's some of his shots when he was at work
