Mischa is 6 Months Old!
Mischa turned 6 months old yesterday! Yippeee...how time flies. Now she is showing more seperation anxiety and feels more attached to mummy.

Her milestones so far:
I have reached my target for TBF Mischa....BUT I have decided to hang on for the moment..and have set my NEW target to 12 mths! Hope I can do it although I feel less and less motivated to pump milk whenever Mischa is not with me. But because of her recent eczema issues, I will just have to hang on for her sake! Luckily hubby has been very supportive in it (well, maybe not. cos he can then save on Formula milk?!)
Give me some encouragement will ya?

Mischa's first solid food
Finally I decided to start Mischa on some rice cereals as she shows signs of wanting to 'eat'. My mum has been urging me to start her on some semi-solids but I was quite reluctant.
Anyway I bought some organic rice cereals and started her off when she was around 5.5months old.
Getting all set....ready to go!
Mischa: "Mummy, I want my cereal...faster !"
Mischa:" I wonder how it taste like...."
Mischa:"Umm....hmmm......"
Mischa: " Not fantastic....hmmm...."
After a few more spoons....
Mischa:"Huh.....yucks....!"
Ok enough! Thats how much she 'loves' her cereals. Anyway aft a few days Mischa had some rashes all over her body. We were so worried,hence we stopped the rice cereals and all (she had steam apples and pears for 2 days) to observe her. I will wait till she turned fully 6 mths old before I intro new foods to her again. Hiaz...

Mischa is 5 Months Old!

Mischa is 5 months old! How time flies and I have also TBF for 5 months.1 more month to go to meet my 6months target.
Weight: 8.1kg
Height: 64cm
Mischa's weight is on the 90th percentile but her height is 50th percentile! Hiaz..could she be another shortie like mummy? Let's hope not.
Her milstones at 5 months:
- Plays with his hands and feet
- Distinguishes between bold colours
- Recognizes own name
- Turns toward new sounds
- Rolls over in both directions
• Sits momentarily without support
• Mouths objects
• Separation anxiety may begin
