BBQ by the beach

It's been a while since our last picnic cum barbeque session. It was quite an impromptu decision hence we didn't have time to marinate any food. We only bought some sausages, prawns and fish. No chicken wings at all and no fanciful sauces to go with....just wanna have some fun without much hassle- even the BBQ 'pit' was a disposable one!
Mischa and I took an hour's nap after lunch while Hubby and Favian had some fun with the beach ball.
The kids enjoyed the BBQ session and we sure will be back for more.

Mischa's last day @ Talent Plus

Today we celebrated the last day of the year end term at Talent Plus. It was also the last day for Mischa at Talent Plus. She will start her new experience at Carpe Diem come December. Sad to say goodbye to Teacher Lee and friends at Talent Plus, but I am so looking forward for Mischa to start her routine at the childcare centre so that I can have more time on hand for my own stuff and set a proper routine for her as well. She has been pretty independent so far, thus I am not too worried.
I bought a cake for the teachers and joined in the party with Favian and hubby along.

Mischa still fresh and happy when we arrived at the classroom

Sing-a-long session

Her fav beau by her side - Joven. Teacher Lee mentioned several times that this pair of little love birds enjoys each other's company so much that they will always play and sit close to each other and that Mischa only smiles/ laugh when she sees Joven. Awww.....

Mischa laughing at Joven's antics....only he can make her smile in class

Get up and move that body before snacktime

Having fun during song & dance segment

Mischa smiling away enjoying the song and dance move

Getting cranky after a while....

Suddenly she refused to participate in the dance and just stood at the side watching the other children dancing along to the music

Snack time - everyone contributed some food for this day

Favian joining in the fun

A shot with Teacher Lee for memory's sake... (Favian was taught by her as well...)

And some last shots with her 'Prince charming' - Joven. Mischa's gonna miss him...

Mischa: "Bye bye Talent Plus! I enjoyed my short stay here and I will never forget all my friends (esp. Joven). till we meet again. And Hello to my new school come December!"

KittyLab!

Kittylab is in Singapore - In celebration of the 35th anniversary for Hello Kitty.
I almost wanted to give this Kittylab a miss cos I couldn't find 'kakis' to go with me. I realised alot of close friends around me are not kitty fans at all. So I persuaded hubby to go with me and he did! thanks for the effort dear!

Hubby took quite a bit of photos for me - although we were told no photography was allowed in there - due to copyright reasons , which i really dun understand why! Well, we weren't the only people snapping away anyway, in fact EVERYONE was doing so - how could we control ourselves when the displays were all so cute???

Japan Day 7 - Tokyo & back home!

Sigh...we only had 7days to spare for this trip and yes, we are heading back home today! Initially we planned to make a trip to Odaiba before we check in at the airport for our 7pm flight home.
But because we needed to get some gifts for our family and were afraid that we wont be able to be back to hotel in time, we decided to just hang around Shinjuku area for some frenzy last minute shopping.

and so we were busy shopping, we didn't have much time to whip out the camera till we settled for lunch in a somewhat 'nostalgic' street - Shomben Yokocho for some cold ramen.

After that we headed back to the hotel to retrieve our luggage and took the airport limousine bus to Narita Airport.
Sad to say goodbye, but I am sure I will be back to Japan someday!
